Die unabhängige Beratende Kommission im Zusammenhang mit der Rückgabe NS-verfolgungsbedingt entzogenen Kulturguts, insbesondere aus jüdischem Besitz, ist 2003 von Bund, Ländern und kommunalen Spitzenverbänden eingerichtet worden, um bei Differenzen über die Rückgabe NS-verfolgungsbedingt entzogener Kulturgüter zu vermitteln.
